Backdrop
It was Monday Oct 25 2021 in the Ozarks. My sons had settled in to catch part of Monday Night Football. The Saints were playing the Seahawks. Just after 8 pm, the channel had weather alerts than the game and they made a comment about how the weather in our local state can interrupt the game being played in Seattle. You can see the history of that here
With the alerts and the sirens, we were under alert as well, ensuring the animals made it thru and our makeshift sheds that protected them were going to hold up.
During this commotion, I received a group message from one of my friends that had us all puzzled in the group. It was a dome around the greater Springfield, MO area, that almost looked like a bubble of protection.
I thought this was a miracle of God or an error in reporting or some man-made effect. We even joked of conspiracies and such, based on a joke our neighbor had played on his wife.
Yah was kind enough to save us thru this set of storms and we weathered well.
His Protection for His Saints
Few weeks later, I was listening to a report of a group of families who had celebrated Sukkot in the greater Springfield area, and they talked about being in the middle of the storm, camping. As they were remote and limited signal, with the alerts they started getting, many families decided to break camp and head back. But less than half stayed back. Raised the roof in worshipping, praying, blowing shofars and signing praises to the Most High.
I was told that, they all made it without any destruction. They had rain and just nuisance that comes with wet camping, but the storms and the winds didnt affect them.
I heard this on my morning dog walk many weeks later and was stopped in my tracks by this testimony of our Most High. I had to stop and praise Him for His care for His people and His faithfulness to answer prayers however small they are.
This has definitely strengthened my faith further as our Most High God continues to work miracles just like He did in delivering Israel out of Egypt and in bringing down the walls of Jericho. He makes rain stop or pour or protect His people through storms.
My Yah's promise through His prophet Isaiah, still stands. HalleluYah!!
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
[Isa43:2]
