Comparisons/Contrasts

Cause & effect
The entire book is orchestrated by Yah, but for the specifics, here are the cause and effect
- Boaz went to the gate, assembled ten elders and called for the first kinsman, so that he can conclude the purchase of Naomi's land
- Naomi had fell on hard times, hence she is selling the parcel of land
- The first kinsman rejects the offer, hence he gives Boaz his sandal
- Closing of the deal results in purchase of Elimelech's land from Naomi and all of his descendents (Chilion and Mahlon)
- Purchase of Ruth to be his wife, so as to raise up a son for inheritance and that name of the dead may not be cutoff
- Boaz actions must have been noble, as the witnesses/elders blessed him and his house
- Boaz went into Ruth and Yah gave her conception, she gave birth to Obed
- Naomi was faithful to Yah, she was redeemed by His hand through her daughter-in-law delivering Obed
- This entire book coming to gether to give us the genealogy of David upto Jacob
- David -> Jesse -> Obed --> Boaz --> Salmon --> Nahshon --> Amminadab --> Ram --> Hezron --> Pharez --> Judah --> Jacob
