- Luk19:45-46 Jesus entered the temple and began to drive out those who were selling, saying to them, “It is written, ‘ AND MY HOUSE SHALL BE A HOUSE OF PRAYER,’ but you have made it a ROBBERS’ DEN.”

Angel of death | Exo12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. | Luk22:53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. |
Death of first born | Exo11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. | Rom6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. |
Lamb | Exo12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. | Jhn1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! |
Lamb without blemish | Exo12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: | 1Pe1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: |
Lamb examined and killed | Exo12:6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. | Matt27:11-26 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest. And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly. Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would. And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas. Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? For he knew that for envy they had delivered him. When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas. Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified. |
Lamb separated on 10th day | Exo12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: | Jhn12:3-8 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. |
Blood of the lamb | Exo12:22-23 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. | Jhn14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Act4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Rev12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. |
Lamb roasted | Exo12:8-9 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. | 2Cor5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. |
No bones broken | Exo12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof. | Jhn19:31-33 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: |
Unleavened bread | Exo13:6-7 Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters. | 1Cor5:6-8 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. |
Ordinance to observe | Exo12:24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. | 1Cor11:24-26 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. |
If this year, 2020 was...
What if this year 2020 and this Pesach/Passover was Messiah's Death and Resurrection, what would that look like? Here is my interpretation of the Scriptures and charting of the calendar using Scriptures and locally on Gulf Coast.
- Mar 25th sundown, yielded the new moon in our location, so the first day of Aviv/Abib started, since barley sightings had occured in the prior days (in Israel and US), so the first day of the Hebrew new year for us here where I live.
- April 3rd evening before the Sabbath start, He would have been entertained in Bethany and anointed with spikenard.
- April 7th evening they had the Last Supper and when the night Judas betrays. Our Messiah is arrested sometime before dawn and begin the trials.
- April 8th around 9am is when, after being tried our Messiah would have lead to the cross. He died on the cross around 3pm local time on 8th about the time, we will be slaughtering the Passover lamb. April 8th sundown is the Passover, when we will be partaking of the lamb in our house. He was buried in the tomb before sundown.
- He was in the grave April 8th evening, 9th morning, 9th evening, 10th morning, 10th evening, 11th morning and during the late hour of 11th evening He was risen, so when the women came to see him on 12th early and dark still, which is when we will have the resurrection, our First Fruits.
